Awake, My Soul

A beautiful, timeless book of daily readings of 365 hymn texts from throughout church history, from the Middle Ages to 1900. Each hymn for the day includes a suggested tune and a short historical/theological meditation. The book is cloth-bound, hardcover, two-color printing, with two ribbons.  It includes a title-first line index, allowing it to be used as a hymnal. Passion week and Advent are clearly marked and can be adapted for use in any calendar year.
